2018 Commitment Cabernet Sauvignon

We are tasked to celebrate this corner of California’s hinterland through honest wines that feed the soul with beauty. In 2018, the estate-grown Cabernet sang with a depth and presence that begged to be explored further. We elected to set aside four exceptional barrels to be aged three years before bottling. The concept of commitment implies a sense of trust. In good faith, the 2018 Commitment was left unfined and unfiltered in the finest French oak, and racked just once per year to preserve character. The gift of time imbued the wine with a sense of grace and maturity.

The 2018 Commitment captivates with layers of black currant, plum, and fresh herbes de provence. This full-toned, resonant wine is defined by its wonderfully plush texture and dark, luxurious fruit. With extended barrel age, the tannins are resolved and rounded, falling into equilibrium with sleek acidity and superb ripeness. A blissful experience of Cabernet.
